I have a good friend at work named Nina... Nina doesn't take any crap. Well, she informed me that I really need to be more aggressive..yeah I know, I admit I'm not very tough. I think its good to be nice & kind, but I also think its very important to stand your ground. So, I'm going to work on being more assertive, not second-guessing myself, and stop apologizing when I have no reason to. This is going to take some time... Thanks Nina!

Buttercup! Now that is an assertive name. Be assertive when you really want something, which I think you already do. I think you are a beautiful balance of kindness and determination. If people are going to be mean to you, then kill them with kindness, make them feel like crap. Stand for what you want. If they become agressive, call Brian, he'll kick their buns.
